What is loan-to-value (LTV)?

Loan-to-value (LTV) is the loan amount divided by the property's applicable value, expressed as a percentage. For example, a $500,000 loan against a $1,000,000 property value has a 50% LTV. The valuation method and maximum permitted LTV depend on the loan program and underwriting. F.L.E.X. 50™ is capped at 50% LTV, subject to program requirements.
